What is RAM ?

Nowadays when we planning to buy a gadget like Smartphone, Laptop, etc that time in our mind comes first the RAM of that Smartphone or Laptop, etc. Many of them don't know the exact meaning of RAM? Why it is important? But when we go for buy a smartphone, laptop, etc that time we always buy a device which has a large RAM sometimes our friend or family members recommended purchasing a large RAM device.


The Full form of RAM is Random Access Memory. It is also like our internal memory but RAM is a special type of memory which is used only when we open an application or run time an application.


When we install an application/ software the application/ software is stored in our internal memory. But when we open an application/ software the application/ Software is run in RAM.


It is a little bit difficult to understand it okay we are discussing it to take an example For example, Let a person work in an office when the person works in their desk daily 1 file at a time in one day the office head tells the person works 10 files at a time that time the person work same time 10 file like that our device RAM work.


Larger RAM devices working smoothly because when we open more application/ software that time also our device works smoothly. Nowadays if you buy a device always you prefer minimum 4GB RAM because today's application/ software is more consume large space of RAM.


If you buy a smartphone then always prefer larger RAM device because in feature it is helpful and we do not upgrade RAM in a Smartphone. But in case of laptop or desktop, we are able to upgrade in our system.
